From Selection to Manufacture
From the choice of raw materials to the selection of type, size, and age of wood, every detail requires careful consideration. The Bokto team meticulously uses each piece of precious wood to custom-make high-quality furniture tailored for clients.

實木一片板，讓人可以更清楚地觀察木紋的變化，望著被切開的材料，許久，目光不停地被吸引著，像是流水順流又交融再一起的木紋，怎麼看也看不膩，木島資深師傅說；樹木變成了木材，還是活的！在這樣的木紋變化裡，確實能感受到那種力量。
Observing a piece of single slab solid wood allows one to clearly see the variations in the wood grain. As you look at the cut material, the mesmerizing patterns, flowing and blending like water, continually capture your attention. A senior craftsman at Bokto commented, “Even after it is transformed into lumber, the wood is still alive!” Indeed, within these changes in the wood grain, one can feel a kind of power.
所有的實木材料都是獨一無二的，尤其是由單一樹幹製成，沒有拼接的一片板桌面更不用說；幾十年上百年的累積，呈現在樹幹一深一淺的年輪裡，桌面的每一個紋理訴說著上百年的每一次寒冬與熱夏。
在這個大桌板的側面，刻意保留了材料的皮，這是樹木的皮，自然邊去除了呆板的四方感，使得整個物件更有生命力了。
幾次的討論之下，在桌子的外型上，搭配不對稱的木腳，一樣由非洲柚木實木打造。
因為是餐桌，表面的選用較耐熱的PU塗裝，提高耐受性及硬度，保護桌面。
Solid Wood Tabletop
Each piece of solid wood is unique, especially those made from a single tree trunk without any joins—the single slab tabletops. Decades or even centuries are encapsulated within the deep and shallow rings of the trunk, with every texture on the tabletop narrating the tales of numerous winters and summers over hundreds of years.
On the side of this large tabletop, the natural edge of the material is deliberately preserved, retaining the bark of the tree. This design choice removes the rigid rectangular shape, bringing more vitality to the piece.
實木椅凳
這組家具另一個有特色的地方是實木板凳。
實木椅凳在側面使用大木榫結構，使得地面的側板和座板透過交叉連接，形成穩固的支撐。交錯的位置可以清楚看到由於木紋方向的不同，木板間呈現出獨特的方格顏色變化。兩片木板的最外側，像是十指相扣一樣，支撐起堅固的九十度角。
Solid Wood Stools
Another standout feature of this furniture set is the solid wood stool.
The solid wood stools utilize large mortise and tenon joints on the sides, allowing the side panels and seat panels to intersect and connect, forming a stable support. The interlocking position clearly shows a unique checkerboard color variation due to the different directions of the wood grain. The outermost parts of the two wooden boards interlock like clasped fingers, supporting a firm ninety-degree angle.
