This dining table was custom-made by a designer who graduated from an architecture program, using terrazzo, a material that has recently regained popularity. Its unique, mosaic-like patterns evoke the floor tiles of old houses, bringing a retro and nostalgic element that adds warmth to the space.

 

厚重石板材的靠山

 

水磨石厚實的重量，必須由結構強健的桌腳支撐。因此木島利用口字型木框，並在中間增加十字型木條，強化結構穩定性。每個連接處都精心設計，確保桌腳能穩固支撐重達20公斤的石板。

 

Support for Heavy Stone Slabs

 

The substantial weight of the terrazzo requires robust support from the table legs. Therefore, Bokto utilizes a rectangular wooden frame, reinforced with a cross-shaped wooden bar in the middle to enhance structural stability. Each joint is meticulously designed to ensure that the legs can stably support a stone slab weighing up to 20 kilograms.

The table legs are made of light-colored maple wood, which contrasts sharply with the heavy stone, creating a unique vintage style.
