Home may change as life moves forward, but quality furniture can stay with you forever. This time, we took on the challenge of a highly flexible structural design, crafting a custom floating-style bed frame for our client that is easy to disassemble and set up anywhere.
 

 

可拆解式的結構，保持穩固耐用的秘密
 

為了方便未來搬家時的搬運與重複組裝，我們將床組設計為「全可拆解」結構。每個連接處皆經過耐用考量，並結合訂製的強化五金零件，不僅確保了組裝時的便利性，更大幅提升了床架在多次拆收後的結構穩定度。
 

The Secret to a Modular Structure That Remains Rock-Solid
 

To ensure ease of transport and reassembly during future moves, we designed the entire bed set to be fully modular. Every joint is built for durability, integrated with custom reinforced hardware. This not only makes assembly more convenient but also significantly enhances the bed frame's structural stability even after multiple disassemblies.

 


穩定性與實木紋理的平衡選擇
 

在材料的選用上，床框使用厚實的栓木實木製作。而床板部分則採用合板貼栓木實木皮，相較於全實木，合板結構在面對氣候變化時更具穩定性、不易變形；外層保留了細緻的山形紋路，讓耐用機能與視覺美感兼具。

 

A Balanced Choice Between Stability and Natural Grain

 

For the materials, the bed frame is crafted from thick solid Ash wood. The bed panels, however, utilize plywood with Ash wood veneer. Compared to solid wood, this plywood structure offers superior stability and resistance to warping under changing climates, while the exterior preserves the delicate mountain grain, perfectly blending durability with visual elegance.

Floating Aesthetics Tailored for Special-Sized Mattresses

 

This bed frame was custom-made to perfectly fit the client’s unique mattress dimensions, ensuring a 100% seamless fit. In terms of design, we achieved the sought-after "floating" look. By recessing the bed legs, the frame appears to hover lightly above the floor, adding a minimalist and avant-garde modern touch to the bedroom space.
