Maple

Introduction


Maple is a non-toxic wood type, making it suitable for children’s products and is also the species from which maple syrup is extracted.


Maple is a hardwood with excellent impact resistance and wear durability, making it a popular material for manufacturing furniture, flooring, and sports equipment such as baseball bats. The cut surface of maple is exceptionally smooth, and areas with burls display varied patterns. Additionally, freshly cut maple has a subtle sweet scent. Over time, the color of cut maple gradually shifts from pale beige to a malt-like hue. Among other hardwoods, maple is noted for its particularly light color.
